Fort de son talent, Roman Saenko fait un revirement complet dans Songs of Grief and Solitude : il abandonne le black metal atmosphérique d'autre fois et passe sur de la folk acoustique rythmée ("Archaic Dance" par exemple) entièrement instrumentale. Parfois aérienne ("The Milky Way"), la musique est souvent menacée par les corbeaux. Un bel album qui ne plaira pas à tout le monde mais qui s'apprécie à sa juste valeur. Favorite track: The Milky Way.

Ruthless & Toothless Drudkh-and Roman Saenko in particular-seem incapable of doing any wrong. That's the only conclusion I've been able to come to, at any rate, and SoGaS stands as a unique and stunning piece of their repertoire. Beautifully written and performed, this might be my favorite Drudkh release-and that's saying something! Favorite track: Archaic Dance.

FakeIsTrash I’m aware of the controversy around this band. However Drudkh’s music speaks for itself. This is a testament to their musical genius. This was a treat from start to finish!

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork.
